Image Bank- Lines

These two images show lines in man made objects. I like the way in which these materials have been joined together to create such complex structures

The next three images are examples of lines in nature these show how lines have naturally occurred to create beautiful things. I choose to show a plant (leaves), an animal and a natural land mark, the grand canyon. To demonstrate how lines create everything around us and how they make things unique and beautiful. 

 I choose this image because I liked how it reflected lines not only is there lines in the wood panels which the snails are crawling across but you can also see the swirls on there shells and they are travelling in a line. 

I took the photography opposite a couple of months ago and decide it would be a good image to add to my image bank of lines. It shows lines which have accrued naturally over time on the tree, it reflects how they have no set way in which they should be or how they are.
