Describing Pattern

  • Criss-cross
  • Chequered
  • Matching
  • Repetitive
  • Symmetrical
  • Unique

The image above displays a natural pattern. I like how they have centred the image and how the pattern of the zebra is spread out and fills the photography. I choose this image because it shows a pattern which happens naturally and looks beautiful another example of this could be a spiders web.

I love the pattern on this jumper, the design and
colours also gives the image a retro feel. I
think the hair on the right side of the also separates
the picture and does not make the pattern
look to bold.

The image above shows how a loaf of bread has been cut and spread out in a certain way to create a pattern. Producing a pattern which may have been intentional or unintended whist the action was taking place.

I like the way in which the match sticks have been placed to create this pattern above also I think the red and yellow create a good contrast and with the help of depth helps create a interesting piece.

I choose these images to represent pattern as they show a repetitive pattern in a decorative way.
