I shoot my images for texture off campus, at home, and believe they turned out very well. I think that I should have been more creative however during this shoot as I was lost for ideas and I think this is shown when looking at my contact sheet. I think that many of my images were similar from the shoot, however I do like how my four finial images.
When taking this photo it took me a while before I took one which I thought was good enough. In the end I think this photo turned out very well and I like how the texture is shown. I think that this photo shows the leaves as being quite bold and makes some of the leaves stand out quite clearly.
This is my favorite photo from what i took for texture. This was a faux fur coat of my friends I took this image quite quickly as she was walking as I though it might look nice, I never expected for it to turn out so well. I like how the fur is not all in one direction. Overall I think that this image highlights the slightly different shades within the fur coat.
Progression
If I was to continue with this topic I would like to try to show textures from the body, for example eyelashes, winkles and the lines on the palms of people hands. I would also like to look more into texture involving more smooth and flat surfaces, Or things like smoke, and see how I could show them within my photos.
