This image shows the texture of a leaf, which appears to be smooth. By using the different tones you can see the way in which the leaf would feel and where the groves would be.

I like how this image reflects texture and gives the feel of a course surface. I like how the colour has been used to give the effect of  almost flaking paint.

The image above shows the texture of an animals fur. It shows how the fine hairs all create what appears to be a soft texture. 

The image above shows a close up image of a crocodile, the different shades and shadows shows the texture shown within an image. I like how the whole image is filled with texture and how there is a mixture of textures and some different colours all within the one images.
