Evaluation
I enjoyed taking photos for location contrast as I thought there were many different ways you could look at contrast and take images of it. Once I was out taking image I found I didn't lack ideas or places of which showed contrast. I think that my images for contrast overall turned out well.
I'm not sure if I like how this image is slanted or if I think it makes it look sloppy, however I do still like the contrast of the blue and brick wall and the dark ground. I think it may have been better if the image was taken a little closer. I think the image does portray a strong colour contrast and was a successful image however if I was to take it again I would be more careful of the angle from which I was taking it and see how the bricks would line up.
This is one of my favourite images from my location contrast one, I would however like to crop out the flower pot which is in the top right hand corner to see if this improves the images sightly. I like how the image is focused on one flower and shows it in detail yet you can still see many other red flowers in the back ground so it is not just one red flower against the green. I also really like how the flower is centred. I did take me a few tries before I got one I felt I was pleased with.
Progression
When I go out to shoot for location contrast again I would like to see if I can take quite simple images which portray contrast and see how they turn out. I think it would be interesting to try and use more of the building next time and see how I could show contrast in my images using them.
