This image shows the contrast within the background colour, both glasses are half full up. However appear different due to the colour of which is behind them. I like how the same object has been reflected in two different ways due to the background of which it has been placed in.  

I like how these two bright colours have been used together. The orange from the flower stands out more and has a greater affects due to the blue background. I think that this contrast was used to highlight the beauty of the flower. 

I find this image interesting as one side is colourful and happy, whilst the other reflects a dark place filled with danger. I think this can link to how we think, sometimes we look at the happy and positive side however sometimes we only look at the worst. I like how this images shows that contrast is not always just about the setting but can also display the contrast of feelings and emotions. 

The technique selective colour has been used here to make the leef stand out on the rock. I think that by doing this the artist has created a unique piece and I really like the way in which they have used this technique to highlight the colour and represent the contrast within nature.
